Alternatives to Clickfunnels: Is there a Better Option for Your Business?

Business owners today know about how important it is to have an online presence. If you own a Brick and Mortar store or deal strictly online, getting your readers’ and potential customer attention is crucial.

Many businesses focus on great SEO, where your business shows up in Google (hopefully in the top position) in both organic and “snack pack” searches. Besides this, many have active campaigns in social media, with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram profiles and so on.

One of the problems with getting eyeballs on your website is that once they leave, they may never come back. Repeat customers is what all business owners want, it keeps their business going and builds their reputation.

In came Clickfunnels that addressed this issue. The concept is simple. A customer checks out your site, sees some kind of free offer and drops their email address. After that, they are followed up with a series of emails promoting offers and also giving value. It may also serve as a way to sell more products on your website through upsells.

This effectively puts your customer in a “funnel” where you can market to them over and over. Obviously you don’t want to overdo it – you should be providing value as well.

Through this method, you are solving the problem of a customer walking through your door, never to return again. It’s a concept that Clickfunnels knows very well and has helped many businesses both online and offline grow exponentially.

Clickfunnels Can be Costly

One of the key complaints that people make regarding Clickfunnels is the cost. It’s not cheap – it starts at $97 a month. If you create too many funnels, you may reach the limitations of the plan and will need to upgrade to the Etison Suite, which costs $297 a month. This will remove the restrictions and you’ll also get two other tools called Backpack and Actionetics.

Is there an Alternative to Clickfunnels?

There are other alternatives and a lot of software developers are trying to get in the game and copy Clickfunnels. Some reasonable alternatives are:

  • Thrive Themes Membership
  • Optimize Press
  • LeadPages
  • Instapage
  • 10 Minute Funnels

So as you can see, there are some alternatives to Clickfunnels but most of them will require some additional tools like an autoresponder to mimic what Clickfunnels does. As Clickfunnels is an all-in-one-solution, it still stands as the leader of all funnel builders but if budget is a concern there are other options that may work for you and your business.

Don’t Ignore Funnel Building

There is no denying that every business needs to incorporate some kind of funnel in their marketing efforts. Ranking in Google, doing paid ads, a social marketing campaign are all great, but if you’re unable to “capture” customers before they leave your site, knowing they may never return is simply an opportunity lost. If you can afford the cost of Clickfunnels then go for it, but keep in mind the more you build out, chances are you’ll have to opt for the Etison upgrade which costs more money. If your funnels are working for you then this cost should easily pay for itself anyway – at least in the long run.
