What does your company do?

I photograph influencers, brands, fashion, and stock photography. I take a creative and unique approach, showcasing the essence and energy of the people and things I photograph.

What made you want to be an entrepreneur?

I love making decisions, creating things. Photography is all I’ve ever really wanted to do, it’s beyond my passion, it’s my life’s work.

Why did you choose your business?

Photography chose me. When I couldn’t put things into words, like how a beautiful garment made me feel, I would take a picture instead.

What prepared you for entrepreneurship?

While building my company and career, I worked several sales jobs. I think being in sales prepared me for photography because you have to network, promote your business, and present concepts to clients.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

Being published in magazines like Photo Vogue, Vous Madrid, GMARO, and this platform.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of being an entrepreneur?

Seeing my clients’ faces when they are looking at the images for the first time. Knowing I created something that impacts them and the people who see the image is the best reward.

What challenges have you faced as an entrepreneur?

As an entrepreneur, work-life balance can become a challenge. We wear many hats from sales, PR, marketing, to the actual work itself.

Is there anything you wish you’d done differently?

No, I have no regrets, it all made me who I am today.

How can others get started in this business?

As a photographer wanting to start a business, I highly recommend learning as much as you can about business first. Learn sales especially. A wise person once told me that photography itself is only 1% of the job.

Do you have any advice for future entrepreneurs?

Do what you want in life, what brings you joy, what you can’t stop thinking about. Yes, you should have a plan, but doing what you love can absolutely be that plan.
