1. Tell us a little bit about yourself (background, where you’re from, etc.).
My name is Thomas Feliciano-Hernandez, and I was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and raised in Arkansas. I come from a Puerto Rican family, and that background has always kept me grounded and motivated. I’m someone who has always believed in growth, learning, and building something meaningful.
2. Tell us a little bit about your business, what it does, and how it started.
Side Income By TF is my digital business focused on helping everyday people build side income through simple, practical digital products and financial education. I started it less than a year ago with a simple idea: create beginner-friendly resources that make online income feel achievable, not overwhelming.
3. What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve always wanted more control over my time and my future. I was inspired by the idea that anyone—regardless of background—can build something of their own with the right guidance. I wanted to create a path for others like me who are looking for flexibility, independence, and a way to grow.
4. What has been your biggest challenge as a business owner, and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge has been starting from zero—no audience, no brand, no roadmap. I overcame it by staying consistent, learning every day, and focusing on progress over perfection. Every small win built momentum.
5. What are you most proud of in your business journey so far?
I’m most proud that I actually started. A lot of people talk about building something, but I took the first step. I’m proud of the foundation I’m building and the vision I have for where this is going.
6. What advice would you give to someone thinking about starting their own business?
Start before you feel ready. You don’t need everything figured out—you just need to begin. Learn as you go, stay consistent, and don’t compare your chapter one to someone else’s chapter twenty.
7. What are your future goals for your business?
My goal is to grow Side Income By TF into a trusted resource for beginners building online income. I want to expand my digital product line, grow my audience, and eventually help thousands of people create flexible income streams.

Fun fact: Everything I create is built around the idea of simplicity—if a complete beginner can’t understand it, I redesign it until they can.
