Is Your Advertising Campaign Effective?

If you sit and think about it, how effective is your advertising campaign, and if your answer to that is I’m not running one, then we’re in big trouble people. Advertising your company to the world, and as much of the world as possible, is essential to making sure that you’re boosting your profits and gaining more exposure. But have you actually analysed how effective the campaign you’re running is. There’s a few different factors that you should be monitoring, one is the sales before, during, and after your advertising campaign. In theory, the sales should go up a considerable amount. If they’re not, have a read of the tips we’ve got below to make sure you’re making the most money.

PPC & AdWords

So, if we’re going to talk about an advertising campaign, these two should pop into your head straight away. If you’re not using them, make sure you trail them out after reading this article. PPC is pay per click advertising, and it works by promoting your company through advertisements on Google and web pages. Whenever someone clicks, you have to pay, but you’ve got the conversion and hopefully a sale. There is a ppc management service that will help you to run your campaign effectively to yield the most results. Then you’ve got AdWords. It is a Google led advertising service which gives great results. You pay a fee to be placed in the top three places on Google. If you look now, just above the normal search results, there will be three showing with an Ad sign next to them. Those are companies who are bidding to get one of those spots for a particular keyword. So for example, if you search shoes, Nike for example might show up. But if you searched handbags, Nike isn’t going to come up because it’s not advertising for that keyword. It’s simple, effective, but costly. Be careful not to get lost trying to get the top spot. To help you with your efforts you may want to consult with an agency like Bulldog Digital Media. These digital marketing agencies can help you create effective campaigns helping you to create the best marketing strategies which help your company succeed.

Monitoring Progress

This is essential. There are plenty of bits of software out there that will monitor the progress of your campaign for you. As we’ve already said, the main thing you want to track is the sales and profit you’re making. If you are running a campaign such as PPC, then you should always be watching your conversions. Make sure your website is conversion rate optimized, or this isn’t going to work out for you. Having your website set up in such a way will allow you to see where your clicks are coming from, therefore showing you where you might need to improve.

Making Adjustments

You should always be looking to make adjustments along the way. After you’ve monitored, you adapt and adjust to get the best results. Use plenty of different techniques, and don’t be afraid to have a go at more than one marketing campaign at a time to maximize your results. As long as you’re not doing anything that might come across as spam, you should be okay to run a few campaigns.
