Welcome to the 1000th post of the Entrepreneur-Resources.net blog! I started Entrepreneur-Resources.net during the first year of my MBA program at the Booth School of Business (University of Chicago). After launching a web design company in 2003 and not having a single client for 6 months(!) I knew I needed help. Business school was my answer, but I knew it was an opportunity many wouldn’t be able to take advantage of. That’s why I started this blog, to teach people what I learned as I traveled down the path of entrepreneurship. My first post back in December of 2005 even touched upon my web design days by teaching business owners how to promote their company with a professional website.
Over the years, this blog has grown to be a resource on marketing, finance, HR, going green, technology, opening a business in various industries and more. I’ve also been fortunate to share profiles of other successful business owners to show that entrepreneurship is a viable career option. Thank you for your patience as I took a few years off from blogging when life ramped up, and thank you also to my contributors who’ve kept my readers up to date on all things small business.
I look forward to keeping this blog going for years to come, and you can help. If you’re a brand looking for more exposure or a writer with an article you’re sure my readers would love, let’s chat. If you’re a reader, and there are topics you’d like me to cover, comment below.
Thank you again for your support! See you at post 2000!
