How to Free up Space on your iPhone

If you are like most people that own an iPhone, you have filled to the max with apps and photos along with other information. The problem comes in when you are out of space and want to install a new app for your business or to add your photo collection. Then in many instances, you will more than likely start frantically trying to find something you can delete. However, you do not want to delete anything so you are now frustrated and want to learn how to free up space on your iPhone.

There are few easy tasks that you can do to free up space without getting rid of other things you have on your iPhone.

The first thing you must learn is just how much space you are using. Just go to the settings, then general and last to storage. Under storage, you will see just how much space you are using as well as how much space you have left.

When you learn this, you can go another step by going to manage storage where you will find the settings for storage. This list will show you all your apps with the largest ones at the top going down to the smallest. If you see that you have a large app that you no longer use, you can just delete it and have more space.

You can also connect your iPhone to a computer and run iTunes so you can see your usage of storage there along with other information or data.

One solution is to set up iCloud backups. You can easily add files to the cloud from your iPhone and never have to delete files. You will still be able to access the files you have on the cloud at any time so you can retrieve anything you place there via any type of web browser right on your iPhone.

When you access Apple iCloud you will receive 5gb of space without any fees. If 5gb’s is not enough, you can also choose from different plans to ensure you have enough space and never have to get rid of any of the apps you have on your iPhone at this time or get rid of any of your photos.

On the other hand, if you do not wish to use Apple iCloud, there are several different cloud computing servers that are free or are less expensive on the net that will allow you to upload your files from your iPhone to their server. All you have to do is check out the hundreds of websites offering cloud storage until you find one that meets your requirements and file storage space.

Once you find a cloud computing solution, you will be able to download more apps and take more photos than ever before as you will no longer have a storage problem.
