As a business owner it’s easy to find a comfortable place in the market and stay there. It’s easy to set up shop in a particular geographical area and be happy to do business there. It’s easy to continue producing the same things, year in year out. It’s easy to do these things because they’re tried and tested and because they produce a tidy ROI. But what if your business needs to move on and develop further? What if it simply has to grow to survive? Would you be willing to take your business in the direction it needs to go in then?
Sometimes location is of paramount importance for business success. Sometimes a geographical location can be the defining factor between a stagnant business and a developing one. Sometimes a business owner must make a decision. They must decide between staying in their comfort, or braving it and moving in an attempt at growth. If you own a growing business, or have dreams of owning one, then this may be something you have to consider. You may even have to move past the borders of your country. Sometimes it takes a BIG move abroad in order to seal a business’s developing future. For instance, there is a place in the UAE known as the Hamriyah Free Zone that has proven itself to be one of the best places in the world for businesses to set up shop. Because of it being located between three continents and because businesses are allowed to be more competitive and make more money there it is a place that businesses all over the globe flock to. That is, if they want to take the next step in the business ladder. And by moving to this location, this step is at the very top of the ladder.
Choosing a new geographical location for a business isn’t just about moving it somewhere where it can establish itself. Sometimes moving in this way is brought out of necessity to find new money making ideas. For instance, if a business distributes foods then moving nearer to those who provide them with it, i.e. a farm, would make sense in regards to the bettering of their product. The business could get fresher produce after the move and the expenditure it pays for it may be slashed. So, by taking the decision to move a business’s produce may be bettered, which then means more even more ROI than they were receiving in their ‘comfortable’ position. Relocating may even result in a business using the law of attraction to their advantage. Sometimes relocating can do wonders for a business simply because it is new to the area that it relocates to. Thus, people will be attracted to it… for a bit at least.
But it all depends on the bravery of the owner. It depends on their bravery to be able to leave their life behind. It depends on their ability to plunge into an unknown world. If you think you’re brave enough to relocate your business, then what’s holding you back?
