According to this video, of the approximately 18 vacation days given a year, the average US work only uses 14 days. This equates to over 488 million unused days! Has this pressure to keep working spilled over into the small business world? As entrepreneurs, we control our own time, but that doesn’t mean we know how to take a break. Personally, I am still learning how to relax. I almost feel guilty taking time off, thinking that I could better spend my time working on my business, following up on sales leads or doing a client project. Deep down, I know that if I’m not at my best, then I can’t serve my clients as well either. It’s a learning process for sure.
